Welcome back!!  I’m sure you’ve missed us over the past few months.  Sorry, life got super busy!  Now I’m on winter break from College and I have time to play games!  I just finished playing the Sims, in fact, so this if fresh and hot! I hope you enjoy this episode! We are nearing the end of the first generation of the matriarch side of The Longs Family!!

Last we left, Starfire was exploring life as a teen, she found a bird, named it and looked for it’s owner.  The owner was never located.  Zeke continues to try and make a potion that will bring his Imaginary Friend, Pal, to life… He has yet to do this.  Moonbeam went on walk with Harlequin and encouraged her sister’s artistic abilities.

Welcome back!! First I must say that this is a short episode… I could have sworn I took more photos, but who knows…  This episode is kind of an inbetweener… After the next episode we will have our first heiress poll and start working on the winner’s story!!

Last episode Winter grew up, Zeke grew up, Starfire was given a dog, Moonbeam grew up, and Starfire grew up!  Lots of birthdays!  This episode has no birthdays… But I hope you like the surprise near the end!!

Welcome back!!  I know it’s been a while.  It’s been a tough few week for me school and life wise.  But hey, it happens to the best of us!! Just know that I’m back and I’m totally ready to make this episode happen!!  I had gotten Sims 3 pets when it came out last month and it is so fun!  I wanted to add a pet to The Longs family so I made a poll and made some animals using the create a pet demo… Whattayaknow?  The Harlequin Great Dane won!!  I made it a girl because I wanted to have puppies at least once in this game… We will see if that happens for The Longs Family’s newest member  later…

So last time we saw Zeke grow as a toddler and learn some skills,  we learned Starfire wasn’t going to be the only girl in the heiress poll because we welcomed Moonbeam to the family.  We also saw Starfire growing as a child, she was off to school, the land of math and friends! Let’s see what this episode has in store for us other than the family getting a dog shall we?

Welcome back to The Longs Family!!!

I want to thank everyone for bearing with me.  I know it took way too long for me to get this episode out.  I was having trouble finding time to play! :-( I had some car trouble (My Rio’s engine died so I had to get a new one) so I was being driven to college earlier than I would have normally gone on Thursdays for the past two Thursdays (I was there at 1 and I don’t have to be there until 4:30! There was much studying and DS playing) BUT now I have my baby Rio back and she runs beautifully so there’s no worries about her breaking down again.

Last time we saw The Longs Family Winter and Gary welcomed baby Zeke to the family. Little Starfire grew up into a beautiful little girl. Gary continued to work hard at the Military base to provide for his growing family and Winter continued to sculpt and paint to add a little extra money in the bank.

How’s about we get started?

Welcome Back!!! It’s been a terribly busy time for me but I have set aside time for Sims on Thursdays so this will workout lovely for me.

Last we left the Longs Family, Starfire was born and brought joy to the big empty house.  Gary got a job and Winter continued to sculpt and paint for extra cash… Let’s see what kind of trouble the Longs can get into this time!!

Welcome back to The Longs Family!! I know you all have been very patient with me.  I’ve had quite the month… I started college on the 22nd and I just finished this Fitness Study for Anytime Fitness (I lost 8lbs, one dress size, one BMI point and .6% of my body fat in 21 days!) so things have been BUSY!  I’ve finally got a moment to myself so I figured I’d better work on my legacy or heads might roll!

LAST TIME we saw Winter move to Riverview, one of my favorite towns.  She spent her time going on dates with Gary.  She fell in love and now they are going to get MARRIED! Yay!  So without any further adieu let’s see their wedding day!

Welcome back to The Longs Family! Yes! We’ve made it to the 10th generation and the matriarch side of The Longs Family!  I’m very excited for you all to meet Winter’s little growing family!

Last we left the Longs Family, both grand parents died, Gwen and Liam got hitched and had twin boys, and all four girls became young adults!  Winter won as Heiress in a non-livejournal poll thanks to their facebook page, my facebook page, and The Sims 3 facebook page… So since I was unsure how to start her part of the legacy in a new town here’s what I did…

1. Made her move out
2. Edited town and made a copy of her family from the house she was in
3. Started a new town (Riverveiw)
4. Put in some new lots and a new large 59x59 lot in the middle of town
5. Moved Winter in…

Here’s the issue, when I saved a copy of her family from the house she moved into, she had a bunch of money… So I wasn’t able to make her start out with a crappy hard poor life… but if I didn’t copy her family she’d have to relearn all the skills she’d gained… I didn’t want to loose that so I just winged it… You’ll see!

• My computer died... more specifically, my video card died.  I melted it with the high temps and crappy dusting jobs I did and since my computer's motherboard didn't have a monitor input I am down one computer.  Thankfully my hubby has allowed me to share his computer, he even cleaned out hard drive space for my sims games!  This computer will become mine when his birthday rolls around and he gets a new computer so it's as if I'm getting a preview of whats to come and let me tell you, this machine can really run the sims! :-)
• I created a Longs Family facebook page!  If you didn't know.  I decided that it would be a good idea to make a page for them so I can get more readers, hopefully.  So if you haven't liked us already click here!
• My hubby and his friends have a new site coming out on August 15th.  If you dig reviews of video games, board games and bad movies please visit their site and like them on facebook too.
• Because of the DDoS attack, I moved ahead in the game.  I put up photos of the four girls on my facebook, The Longs facebook, and The Sims 3 facebook and it was very clear that Winter was going to win.  Spring got 2 votes, Summer got 4, Autumn got 2 votes and (are you ready for this?) Winter shot out ahead with at least 25 votes.... So it was clear that she would have been the heir had I waited or not.  The nice thing is I've been able to play her and her family a lot.  Yes she has a family now, but we will get to that next time! ;-)
• And lastly I got Town life so we will be seeing what wonders that holds as well

Anyway lets get on with it!!!  Last we left the Longs, The girls had fun being children and then they had their birthdays and became teens!!  Liam missed his girls while they were at school and Jude and Nakoma took care of the garden and the home while everyone was out at school.  Let's start this extra long extra good chapter, shall we?
